Our story
Why Make Lab exists.
Make Lab was founded in 2026, out of something we kept seeing around us. Entrepreneurs had a clear project, a budget and a date: a coffee shop to open, a cosmetics brand to launch, a second location to set up. What they were missing was the path.
A sourcing agent delivers a product, an agency delivers a file, a studio delivers a space. In between, the entrepreneur spends months searching, comparing and getting people who never talk to each other to work together.
Rather than add one more provider to the list, we brought these trades together in one team, with one person accountable for the project. We deliver the whole project.
The team
Who works on your project.
We don’t publish names or faces: the team introduces itself through what it does on your project.
Project lead
Your single point of contact, from the first call to delivery. It owns the quote, the schedule and every approval.
Strategy
Positioning, target customer, price tier and our recommendations for selling.
Design
Identity, packaging, plans and 3D views, by the designers of the Make Lab collective.
Manufacturing
Choosing the manufacturers, monitoring production and consolidating shipments, with our partners on site.
Inspection
The reference sample, approved and signed before the production run; a pre-shipment inspection when your order includes it, with a dated photo report.
Delivery
On site for a store, to your door for a brand, by air or sea depending on timing and volume.
Our network
A manufacturing network, without having to build it.
Make Lab works with a network of manufacturers and partners in China. On site, our partners select the manufacturers for each project, monitor production and consolidate shipments. You benefit from this network without having to build it, with a single point of contact, in English.
