Frame

Design

You see your store before it exists.

Make

Everything is made and delivered on site, with a pre-shipment inspection when your order includes it.

  • Samples approved by you before manufacturing
  • Furniture and fit-out made within our network, most often in China
  • Professional equipment, checked for your country (voltage, plugs, standards)

  1. The questionnaire

    Three minutes. Every project starts with it, even if you write to us first. Then a free call, if the project fits.

  2. The first call

    We go over your answers and gather the information we still need to price your project.

  3. Your quote

    Presented on a second call: what is included, what is optional, what is excluded, the lead times and the price. Nothing starts until you sign.

  • Your files and accounts, in your name

    Your domain name and accounts are opened in your name; the files provided for in your quote are yours once the engagement is paid.

I don’t know where to start: is this for me?

Yes, that is exactly why Make Lab exists. You know what you want to open or launch. Where to start, who to talk to and what it really costs: that’s our job. The simplest way is to start with the questionnaire.

What are the steps before we start?

The questionnaire, a first call, then your quote, presented on a second call. None of them commits you. The work starts after you sign, with the first phase of the project.

Where are the products made?

Furniture, fit-out, packaging and products are most often manufactured in China, within our network: for each item, we choose the manufacturer that best fits your project on quality, price and lead time. You approve a reference sample, production is inspected before shipping when your order includes it, and we arrange delivery to your door. We manage the relationship with the manufacturers: you have a single point of contact, in English.

How can I be sure of the quality?

No manufacturing starts without a reference sample that you have approved and signed, unless you waive it in writing. One round of sample corrections is included; beyond that, a new sample is ordered. When your order includes it, production is inspected once finished, before packing and shipping, with a dated photo report.

How much does a project cost?

Every project has its own fixed-price quote, presented on the second call. To see where yours stands against the market, ask for your estimate: it is sent to you by email.
